RMNP

Quick Travels!

One week to Rocky Mountain National Park.

After finishing my summer internship I earned a vacation to Colorado in RMNP. The trip was a huge success. Although, I cannot report a large number of ascents or a monumental milestone for climbing, I can report I returned psyched for the upcoming season.

Before leaving for RMNP I was prepared to try a plethora of problems and tried to keep my expectations rather low. Easier said then done.

I usually take the summers off from climbing and this summer was no exception. I did climb throughout the summer, but there was no training plan in place.

I ended up trying an area classic called Whispers of Wisdom.  I battled for an hour or so figuring out the moves, but in the end and after one classic "Brock Out", I prevailed. For the beginning of the season bagging a V10 considered a standard is a great start!
